The NMSB XV-MAX is a relocate able, MOBILE barrier used for severe-threat security areas requiring versatile perimeter protection. The NMSB XV-MAX can be towed behind a standard pickup truck and deployed in under 20 minutes. With optional tank support system this barrier will stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The average barrier opening is 12’ (3.66 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 31” (78.7 cm) above the road surface. Hot-dip galvanized for years of service. EPA approved self-contained attached housing unit. Standard barrier deployment time is 3-5 seconds. NO weight restrictions. The barrier is normally operated manually, though hydraulic operation is an option. This barrier does not require excavation thus does not mark or damage the roadway surface. Customs configurations are available.
